Clarity on your creative values and direction?
Need tips on finding funding and building partnerships?
Production or curatorial support for putting on an event or exhibition?
I’ve done it all and would love to help you, wherever you’re at!
I love bringing together people, places and ideas in creative and nurturing ways, as I have done over twenty years of working in arts and culture. I have a PhD in curation and creative activation of collections and history in museums and libraries, and a qualification in Health & Leisure, programming recreational activities for diverse communities.
In my consultancy I am keen to help aligned artists, creative businesses and organisations find the creative direction and support they need to bring their magic to the world.
I am known as an innovative connector, seeing links where others may not and will bring an upskilling approach to sharing my knowledge and empowering others to do their thing.

Emotional Intelligence (cultivated self-awareness and social-awareness for effective relationships)
Non-violent communication (bringing an understanding of how needs can be met between people in a multitude of ways)
As a cross-artform artist and producer, I have successfully received funding support from Creative Victoria, Regional Arts Victoria, Regional Arts Australia, and City of Ballarat, for creative projects ranging from my bookish podcast Gather, to creative oral history and mapping with Heart Maps, and collaborative community installation and workshops with Teapot Tales. I have exhibited my photography and collage, produced audio walks and works broadcast nationally and internationally, self-published three collections of poetry, and am co-founder of the Australian Walking Artists. I am on Zonta’s Great Women of Ballarat honour role for services to arts and culture. I have also acted as an assessor on Creative Victoria multi-disciplinary grant panels. I would love to share my diverse experiences with you.

Testimonials:
“Amy is a great carer and supportive voice, and having someone like that focus on your work is uplifting and encouraging. It helps validate the work and build confidence. The prompts she created for me were a great disrupt, and a nice exercise for quiet reflection times. These consulting sessions are as important in the hour you are online as the spaces in-between, where we process reflect and prepare.” Elise, organisational direction and creative values setting.
“My experience working with Amy has been a great learning journey. She is practical, supportive and helps turn ideas into action. Her consulting support has been one of the highlights of my year and she has helped me achieve funding success for my next project!” Nyibol, creative event scoping and successful grant application.
“Thanks again for encouraging me to explore how I could express my creative ideas… It feels like lots is opening up, thanks for lighting the spark. Looking forward to our next session.” Annette, exploring new directions in creativite practice
