Teapot Tales is a delightful creative project with workshops offered in a diverse mix of communities in Ballarat, supported by Regional Arts Victoria. Participants will paint teapots and share stories of tea and friendship, creating works that will become part of a collaborative tea-themed installation launched at Barkly Square’s 2025 Communi- Tea festival on November 15th.

Communi-Tea Fest PosterLed by artist and creative producer Amy Tsilemanis with collaborators and mentors Diana Paez, Julian Potter, Holly Would, Abbie Matthews, Lou Ridsdale and Mauz Hatcher, and supported by Food is Free Inc, Barkly Square, Playgroup Victoria, Ballarat Mens Shed, Centre for Gold Rush Collections, TBH Studio and more.

Here she blows, from 3D visualisation on top (thank you Ian Potter Visuals)to the launch on the 15th. We are so proud. Wander down and check it out at Barkly St, Ballarat East, and see all the great things going on at the site. There are more teapot creations inside the cafe and building too : )
